With SamePage, you not only get a robust wiki but also a lightweight document management system that allows you to store, version, link and retrieve files of any type. These documents are stored as "attachments" to the wiki pages within the repository. The new Explorer View and WebDAV support enables SamePage to be used as a "virtual desktop" for shared files.
- AttachmentsAll wiki pages as well as comments can have one or more file attachments of any type - Word, PDF, images, audio files, movie clips etc. SamePage also allows multiple files to be attached simultaneously. These attached files can be viewed and downloaded from a separate "Attachments" tab of the wiki page. Users can also add descriptions to tag these attachments.
- Explorer View
The new Explorer View gives a Windows Explorer-like interface of the Wiki repository with Projects and Pages displayed as folders and attachments as files. It allows a number of operations like Copy, Paste, Update, Upload etc on these files along with an intuitive mechanism to switch back to the traditional Wiki view at any point.

- WebDAV Support
Documents that support the WebDAV protocol like Word, Excel or PowerPoint can be directly edited and saved in SamePage (using IE browser) without downloading to desktop.
- VersioningJust like wiki pages, the documents attached to a wiki page also get versioned. Users can browse and download previous versions of any document.
- SecurityThe attachments within a project respect all the project level permissions. So users can safely upload files to the team wiki with the assurance that none of the files will be accessible to unauthorized users.
- LinkingJust like wiki pages, the attachments on any page can also be linked on any wiki page. The editor allows uploading a new attachment and linking to it through a single operation. The attachment plugin also allows all the attachments on any page to be automatically listed on any wiki page.
- SearchSamePage not only indexes the wiki pages within a project - it also indexes the text content within all attachments like Word, PDF, Powerpoint etc . So users can actually search and retrieveany file within the wiki repository based on some search term within the file.
